VannoVa prepares for further growth

VannoVa takes an important step towards further growth and professionalisation. Indeed, last Monday, we inaugurated a new, larger distribution centre in Naaldwijk. This expansion comes simultaneously with the appointment of Leon Kuijt as our new Commercial Director, who will focus on improving our marketing and sales strategies.

Leon Kuijt is no stranger to VannoVa and brings with him a wealth of experience. His appointment underlines VannoVa's ambition to take the growers' association to the next level. "In recent years we have made great strides with the start of a distribution centre, the establishment of direct sales and a location in Aalsmeer. This appointment is a great challenge towards the future for me personally but also for VannoVa as a cooperative." The expansion of the distribution centre is a direct response to the growth in acreage, with recent additions by Gommans Flowers, the expansion of the greenhouse area at J&A Flowers and the upcoming new location of Chrysanthemum nursery Van Wijk. And with that the growth in direct sales and then especially the VannoVa export packaging.

The revamped distribution centre offers improved packing capabilities, expanded cold storage space and modern packing lines, ensuring faster and more efficient operations to optimise chrysanthemum delivery.

Laurens van der Lans, responsible for the distribution centre, stressed, "This expansion marks a crucial moment for VannoVa, strengthening our capacity to meet customers' needs and maintain our service standards."
