Since 2004, Richard Van Schie has been breeding santini's on the Papelaan in Monster. Since the beginning of 2023, this takes place at not 1, but 2 locations in the Westland. In total, they produce premium santinis on 6 hectares of land.

Richard: "Since 2004, we started specialising in growing santinis. The choice of the santini was deliberately made at the time. We wanted to offer added value with a distinctive product. That has worked out very well so far.''

Tot 2020 was Richard van Schie gespecialiseerd in enkele soorten, na die tijd is het geleidelijk gegroeid tot maar liefst 15 variëteiten. De santini’s worden op twee locaties geteeld, de Papelaan in Monster en bij ons partnerbedrijf KVS Santini aan de Vlietweg in Naaldwijk. Bij KVS Santini is Jack Kuyvenhoven verantwoordelijk voor de teelt.’’

Rick: "After completing my studies, I followed in my father's footsteps from 2019. That was always in it: the nursery, cultivation and flowers have always appealed to me. The developments within our company are going fast, really everything is being done for an efficient and perfect production of premium santinis. I focus on sales and Richard keeps an overview of all processes."
