Fred van Paassen Chrysanten specialises in growing high-quality spray chrysanthemums of high quality and ornamental value. The company constantly invests in systems and other tools that ensure they grow better flowers with less input every time.

Fred: “Ik heb het stokje overgenomen van vader Henk begin jaren ’90. Sindsdien zijn er grote stappen gemaakt. Het bedrijf is verplaatst van Schipluiden naar Wervershoof en van daar naar Andijk, de huidige locatie. Elke tien jaar hebben wij ons areaal verdubbeld. Inmiddels is mijn zoon Jan in het bedrijf getreden, de derde generatie.”

Jan: "We grow Altaj en Pina Colada. Both white spray chrysanthemums are popular filled varieties. A beautiful crop with the additional challenge of rooting the young plant yourself. This rooting has taken place at the company since the beginning, the last few years in cooperation with Green Simplicity, my brother Wessel van Paassen's company."
