J&A Flowers specialises in the cultivation of fluff chrysanthemums. They now operate at three different locations with a total area of some 90,000 m2. The main location with two greenhouses is located in De Lier and the other location in Maasdijk. The production locations are equipped with the most modern installations and cultivation techniques to guarantee premium chrysanthemums all year round.

Remco: ''J&A Flowers is a chrysanthemum nursery founded in 1982 by my father Jan and my uncle André. I joined the company myself in 2010. My brother-in-law Erwin joined the company in 2019 and we have now been running the daily management together for several years.

''As J&A Flowers, we always continue to innovate in our range of spray chrysanthemums.''

Erwin: ''The Magnum has been our main variety for years now. But we introduce 1 or 2 new varieties every year, in cooperation with the breeders. The latest examples are: the Honeymoon and the Lamira Red, which we grow exclusively.''

We would like to continue investing, on the one hand within our own company, but also together with VannoVa. We do this to serve and surprise customers even better with our beautiful chrysanthemums. To continue doing this optimally in the future, we have decided to build a 36,000 m2 new greenhouse at our main location this year (September 2024). This new greenhouse will allow us to centralise more and work even more efficiently and environmentally friendly. We will thereby grow by just under 20,000 m2 in area. Our aim is to add another 30,000 m2 to our main location in De Lier in a few years' time, so that we are ready for the future. The land has already been purchased for that.''
