Ferry Visser started Visser Chrysanthemums in the year 2000. By now, the company has grown to 2.2 hectares, where the two brothers: Ferry and René now grow various premium spray chrysanthemums together.|

Ferry: "In 2000, I bought 13,000 m2 of land in Maasdijk and had a 10,000 m2 greenhouse built there. Nine years later, I bought the neighbouring land and had another 12,000 m2 greenhouse built there in addition to my existing one. This was when my brother René joined the company.

The division of tasks between us is very simple: René takes care of garden 1 and I take care of garden 2. Because we have two somewhat smaller gardens next to each other, it is easier to grow special/apart/new varieties and to supply them continuously."

René: "We grow three different varieties of spray chrysanthemums on two gardens. Baltica Salmon, Baltica Pink and Baltica Yellow. Each one is a premium quality chrysanthemum with well-filled flowers, strong stems and long shelf life.''
