Guus van Leeuwen specialised in growing the white single-flowered Kennedy. On the small farm, there are short lines, giving the product just that little bit more attention. This nursery was the first Chrysanthemum grower in the Netherlands to produce with geothermal heat.

Guus: "I come from a real family of gardeners. Chrysanthemums have been grown since 1969. I was born in 1973 and grew up among chrysanthemums. After my education, I started working in my parents' company and took over the business after a few years. The company meets all the requirements to produce the most beautiful chrysanthemums all year round. Which is what I enjoy doing.

We have been growing since 2020 Kennedy. A very special white single-flowered chrysanthemum; one that is amazingly paintable, in two shades ('two-tone'). It is a variety that has everything it takes to go far. The uniquely green heart of the flower remains fresh even when it has fully bloomed. This combined with a sturdy hard branch makes Kennedy a real winner!
