Fred van Paassen Chrysanten specialises in growing high-quality spray chrysanthemums of high quality and ornamental value. The company constantly invests in systems and other tools that ensure they grow better flowers with less input every time.

Fred: "I took over the baton from father Henk in the early 1990s. Since then, great strides have been made. The company moved from Schipluiden to Wervershoof and from there to Andijk, the current location. Every ten years, we doubled our acreage. Meanwhile, my son Jan has joined the company, the third generation."

Jan: "We grow Baltica and Altaj. Both white spray chrysanthemums are popular filled varieties. A beautiful crop with the additional challenge of rooting the young plant yourself. This rooting has taken place at the company since the beginning, the last few years in cooperation with Green Simplicity, my brother Wessel van Paassen's company."
