Master Grower Fred en Jan van Paassen

Fred: “I took over from my father, Henk, in the early 1990s. Since then we have really moved forward. The company moved from Schipluiden to Wervershoof, and from there to Andijk, its current location. We doubled our acreage every ten years. My son Jan has now joined the company. He is the third generation.”

Jan: “We are growing Baltica and Chic. Both white spray chrysanthemums are popular filled varieties. A beautiful cultivation with the additional challenge of rooting the young plant ourselves. This rooting has taken place at the company since the beginning, of which the last few years in collaboration with Green Simplicity, the company of my brother Wessel van Paassen”.

This fits well with the most important spearhead of the company; we continuously improve the technique and cultivation in order to gain quality. The entire company is equipped to offer the perfect spray Chrysanthemum to the customer. Every step and decision must contribute to that goal.”
